Today Emily is 2 months old, and I am left wondering where the time has gone. I’m sitting here remembering the tiny girl we brought home from the hospital and spent a week struggling to find outfits small enough for her.
Now she is almost 11lbs and outgrowing the 3 months size with her long arms and legs (the Carter’s brand, and only in length – still lots of room around her tiny waist!). 
We had a lot of firsts this month:
First smiles.
First holiday.
First visit with her Grandma and Grandpa Fennell (well other than when she were .5 days old and in sleepy oblivion!).
First 7 hour stretch of sleep. (This Mama was very thankful!)
No picture, we were sleeping!
We got out on a few more walks…
And started looking a little bit more like Daddy.
We fell asleep in our swing. Swaddled, with our heat sock on and white noise playing but still!
Swing was in motion!
And have such strong little legs that we love to ‘stand up’ on peoples laps and look around.
Again no picture, difficult to do when holding up a standing 2 month old!
We also started struggling a bit more with gas, which was not very fun, but we came up with some creative ways to manage it and we seem to be nearing the end of the tunnel!
We call these our ‘gas legs’.
It was an amazing month of motherhood, one that I’ve made sure to document in your baby book so the years don’t erase the memories.
Everyone has said you are beautiful (and I believe them), but you know what sweet girl? I know you are even more beautiful on the inside and I’m looking forward to watching your little personality and heart develop as you grow into a walking, talking little girl.
But not too soon!

Very sweet! I can tell we have limited options for buying our girls' clothes - Eva has three of the same outfits that I saw in this post :)
