groundhog day giveaway

I’m not sure about Punxsutawney Phil and the rest of the groundhogs, but around here Wiarton Willie has declared that we will have an early spring!  I read on Wikipedia that the groundhog’s are only 39% accurate, so more likely than not we have a LOT more Winter to suffer through, but I think such a hopeful prediction is something to celebrate!

favourite things stocking giveaway

As I mentioned earlier this week, we have someone important coming back to our house this month, and it’s not Santa!!  Craig is FINALLY coming home after a long, long, long, long time away, and I am so excited, I wanted to share a bit of our happiness with you.

My favourite part of Christmas morning has always been the stockings (and Jesus of course!) so I figured that would be a great theme for my first giveaway.  Inspired by Oprah’s favourite things, I picked (select) items that are on my makes-Jen-grin-and-be-happy list and I hope that you’ll enjoy them too.  The best part is, what you see below isn’t the last of it; I’m going to pick up other small things here and there over the next week and a half and then I’ll package it up in the mail for the winner.

coming up: early Christmas giveaway!!

Emily and I are getting our biggest Christmas present a little early this year – our favourite daddy and hubby Craig is coming home in about a week after 8 months away.  We’re even planning a little time away (with baby in the next few weeks, so I have a lot to look forward to the next few weeks!

In honour of our reunion and the excitement we have for this coming holiday season together, I am planning on giving away a stocking stuffed with some of our favourite things!
