I don’t have much to post tonight, just a little revelation I just had! As of tomorrow, it will be one (1!) month(ish) until I am a Mama and it’s left me in a strange place between panic (are we ready!?!?) and joy (the countdown is FINALLY coming to a close) - we will soon have the honour of meeting our little girl and welcoming her into our family!
Yeah, the mirror is kinda dirty. Hate me.
A lot of friends have told me that the last month is the worst and that they spent most of it wishing the pregnancy was over. With the heat and humidity we’ve had this week I can definitely understand that sentiment, however I am trying to keep a positive attitude about the time I have left before she comes.
I’ve started wearing Craig’s wife beater shirts to bed and even using them as a tank for layering as they are so long and cover the belly nicely (boo Old Navy Maternity tanks!). Plus it’s nice to wear something of his around. I may have to buy him some new ones when he gets back though as they’ll probably be a little stretched out in the tummy area. No stretch marks on my tummy yet thankfully, however my feet have been swelling to the size of balloons in the evening (not really) and I’ve switched to flip-flops so that I’m not left with big strap marks or cankles by the end of the day!
I think I’m going to go for a pedicure sometime soon – these feet are definitely unattractive. I can (amazingly) still reach my feet, however I’d much rather have someone else do it for me!

I loved reading this post. You're 2 months ahead of me and I really like to read what you're going through as I presume that I may go through similar stuff soon. I can't wait to meet our little boy either.
